1. Information Collection

Nova Music Pro does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. All your music files, recordings, playlists, and settings remain entirely on your device. We do not require account creation or login.

2. Permissions

The app requests the following permissions, each for a specific purpose:

  • Audio/Media Access: Required to discover and play your local music files via Android MediaStore.
  • Microphone: Used exclusively for the Voice Recorder feature. Audio is saved locally and never uploaded.
  • Storage: Used to save recordings, trimmed MP3 clips, and Private Vault files in app-private storage.
  • Camera: Used only for QR code scanning in the NovaShare feature to connect devices.
  • Location (Wi-Fi Direct): Required by Android for Wi-Fi Direct peer discovery in NovaShare. Location data is not stored or transmitted.
  • Nearby Wi-Fi Devices: Used for device-to-device file transfer in NovaShare.
  • Battery Optimization: Optionally requested to ensure uninterrupted background music playback.
  • Write Settings: Used only when you choose to set a song as your device ringtone.

3. Advertising

This app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use the following information:

  • Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
  • IP address
  • Device information (model, OS version)
  • App interaction data (ad views and clicks)

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device's Google Settings under "Ads".

4. NovaShare (Wi-Fi Direct Transfer)

NovaShare enables direct device-to-device file transfer over Wi-Fi Direct. Files are transferred directly between devices without passing through any external server. Transfer history is stored locally on your device and can be cleared at any time.

5. Private Vault

The Private Vault feature stores files in your app's private directory, protected by a PIN. Hidden files are not accessible by other apps. Vault data is stored entirely on your device and is not backed up to cloud services.

6. Premium Features & Subscriptions

Nova Music Pro offers premium features (e.g., Custom Themes, Custom Backgrounds, Professional Equalizer, Overlapping Crossfade, Shake to Skip). You can unlock these by:

  • Subscriptions: Auto-renewable Monthly or Yearly plans.
  • Lifetime Access: A one-time purchase.
  • Rewarded Ads: Watching 2 short video ads grants 40 minutes of full premium access (if ads are unavailable, a 5-minute trial is granted).

Subscription Terms: All purchases and subscriptions are processed securely through Google Play Billing. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time through your Google Play Store account settings.

We use RevenueCat to manage purchase entitlements. RevenueCat may collect:

  • Anonymous app user ID
  • Purchase transaction data (managed by Google Play)
  • Device type and OS version

No payment information (credit card, billing address) is collected or stored by Nova Music Pro or Beyond Edge.

7. Data Security

Your music, recordings, and app settings remain on your device at all times. We do not operate any servers or cloud infrastructure. Vault files are stored in app-private storage inaccessible to other applications.

8. Third-Party Services

  • Google AdMob: Advertising (see Section 3)
  • RevenueCat: In-app purchase and subscription management. RevenueCat processes purchase transactions through Google Play Billing. It may collect anonymous purchase data and device identifiers to manage entitlements. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
  • Google ML Kit: On-device barcode scanning for QR codes (no data sent to servers)
  • Coil: Local image loading for album art (no network requests for user data)
  • Media3 (ExoPlayer): Audio playback engine (no data collection)

No third-party analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs are used.

9. Children's Privacy

This app is rated for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app contains ads which are served by Google AdMob in compliance with COPPA regulations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
